The last year has been incredibly challenging for everyone, especially new parents. The isolation, the trauma, the change in birth plans and scans (partner/no partner allowed), the anxiety, the lack of baby groups and social interaction have made maternity/paternity leave tough for so many. As human beings we have a fundamental need for connection and as new parents we need support. We need our tribe and we need space to ask questions, to fall in love with our babies and to nourish ourselves. Now is the time to invite this in!
I have spent the last few months training as a Tree Babies Guide with Blossom and Berry and as a Baby-wearing Consultant with Slingababy to be able to offer you this brand new course in the woods, as a response to the needs I feel we are all deeply experiencing right now. Here is a space for community, connection and co-creation, and to come together in nature to heal.
This beautiful new course will include:
natural mandala making
a circle to share and be heard
time to bond with your baby in nature
babywearing (with help from me as a trained babywearing consultant)
chance to make new friends
This is an invitation to simply be. To come as you are. To bond with your baby in a sling. To breathe deeply in forest air. To notice the seasons. To join our wild tribe. To ground yourself. To drink tea in our circle.
There is a waiting list already for this course so please send me a message if you’d like to join it!
Open to all parents with babies under one year.
Providing the steps the government have announced do not change, “Outdoor parent & child groups (up to 15 parents)” can go ahead from 29 March.
I look forward to seeing you in the woods this Spring
